Here is my final "Evergreen" card and possibly my favorite!! I love the fade and different tectures you can create with the stamp set. I stamped one richly inked tree in Always Artichoke. I then stamped 4 more tree images using the technique of stamping off, so only a fine sheen of ink meets your paper. I used Naturals White card stock which is a more porous card stock and gives a more natural feel to your stamping. If you have followed me you will notice the "naturals" card stocks are my favorites!
I then dried my card thoroughly with the heat tool before I embossed. I ran the embossing buddy over the entire card front. I stamped the tree outline image and the Silent Night verse over 2 of the faded trees. I used Early Expresso embossing powder and let the magic happen!! I will never be tired of seeing the ink shine as you heat the embossing powder. It magical!
I poked 2 holes at the base of the middle tree and tied a Linen Thread bow. I used the Star from the Merry Minis punch pack to crop a star from the Champagne Glimmer paper. The card front was adhered to an Always Artichoke card base. I used the sentiment from this set on the inside.
"Remembering with you that silent night so long ago and the Savior's gift of peace, hope, and love that fills our hearts today"
I hope you have enjoyed my TREE series, I want to help you get the most from your stamp sets and show several samples, stay tuned for Cocoa projects........
