Quilt Scrap Card

I needed some cards FAST and this was my solution!  Many scraps were littering my table and I have made this quilt card for other occasions, so 6 cards made and crisis averted.

I still have a 12 x 12 piece of Snow Festival Designer paper left.  I have made at least 50 cards/projects with this paper pack!

The card base is Gumball Green card stock 5 1/2 X 4 1/4.  Embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  Cut a mat 4 X 5 and cut with the Top Note Die.  Adhere scraps to the Top Note in random patterns.  Trim edges to match Top Note.  Emboss Top Note with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder.  Emboss a scrap piece of Gumball Green card stock with the Oval Designer Frames folder.  Trim along dots.  Stamp sentiment from Joyous Celebrations with Gumball Green classic ink on Whisper White card stock.  Punch with the Large Oval punch.  Pop up with dimensionals, DONE!!

  1. Great idea...I like it. Could you have glued the random pieces on THEN put it through the top note die? I would try it!

    1. You could, but would need to make sure the adhesive was completely dry. I would advise to try and keep ALL adhesive away from your dies. This will gum up your sharp edges and possibly affect the cutting process.
