Holiday Collection Framelits

Drum roll please!  Here is the alternate card made using the framelit images, love it!  This card is very easy and such a great way to waste not want not!  I inked the tree, gingerbread and candy cane stamps.  I then pressed the crumb cake images uspside down on the inked stamp and pressed with a clear block.  I then used the white gel pen to accent the images.  The edges are cut with edgelits.  Some of my customers cringe when I get out a border punch, so they will love this option!

Supplies used:  "Snow Festival" Designer Paper, Gumball Green and Naturals White Card Stock.  Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green and Crumb Cake ink.  Head on over to my online store and see more card samples using these great framelits.  www.kathyswanson.stampinup.net  Sign up for an upcoming class or attend the Stamp a Stack 9/29/12 to make this card.  RSVP on the website.

Holiday Collection Frames Ribbon Filled

Gingerbread Cut Out Card
I love this card!!  I cased(copy and share everything)a fellow Stampin' Up Demo, Dawn Olchefske.  Here are the directions:  You will need the Holiday Collection Framelits #127814 in the Holiday Mini.  If you buy the bundle(stamps and framelits) #129946 you save 15%!!  I will be making a card with the cut out pieces later this week.  Place the framelits on the upper half of the 5 1/4X 4 inch crumb cake cardstock.  Run thru the Bigshot and pop put images.
I have placed the card on a real red piece of cardstock so it is easier to see  The base of this card is Naturals White cut 5 1/2 X 4 1/4.  Place the crumb cake on the card base evenly framed and trace the images with a pencil.  This will give you a guide to apply your ribbon.  Don't worry it will not show on the finished card.
Cover your traced images with snail adhesive and apply snips of ribbon covering the traced images.
This is the finished ribbon.  The crumb cake layer will cover all the rough edges.
Prepare your crumb cake layer.  I paper pierced around the framelits images, stamped a sentiment, tied my White Bakers twine and used the White Gel Pen to stitch and make squiggles and dots around the paper edge.
Apply stampin dimensionals and adhere to the card base!!  SO easy and so cute!!
