More Triple Layer and Measurements

As Promised here are the measurements for the Triple Layer card.  If you click on the picture you can zoom in on the measurements.  The bottom colored layer is the actual card base.  If you choose a dark color you may want to line the card with your neutral cardstock so the recipient can read your sentiments!
IMPORTANT layer ONLY the neutral papers for the stamping.  I used a bit of dotto to adhere my layers.  Stamp your largest images first and then fill in.  When you are finished stamping, peal layers apart and adhere to the colored mats.  I popped up my top 2 layers with Stampin' Dimensionals!!
(SU dimensionals are the BEST)
Plus you can run them thru the Big shot with an embossing folder for some added texture!

I used "Nature Walk" with Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Early Expresso and Basic Grey. for my Serene Look.

Here is Betsy's Blossoms with Certainly Celery, Daffodil Delight and Primrose Petals for a Happy Look!

SO many stamp sets, so little time!!  Stampin' Up has lots of stamp sets that will work with this technique.  Check out the catalog on the side bar and go to my website to shop 24/7!  www.kathyswanson.stampinup.net

Christmas in July

Christmas in July

I know this is a Christmas card, but I love this technique and wanted to post.  I received many card swaps at convention using this "Triple Layer" technique.  It is late so I will post the directions and measurements tomorrow.

Or better yet, come to Stamp A Stack this Saturday July 28,  9-5pm and make your own sample!!  I will be holding an open Stamp A Stack, rsvp with your time and make 10 cards for $15!  More details on my website:  www.kathyswanson.stampinup.net
