Swimming Up Stream.....

which is probably a good thing in this Crazy Weather!  I was not going to get a Blog post done tonight, but the Royals Game was called off before it even started.  Which was a wise decision.  Came home and sirens started going off, so headed to the Basement with Snoopy and made a card!
Hope everyone is surviving this Severe Weather!  Stay safe.....

I had not used the Framelits for this set, so here you go.....Cat tails, Fish and the Fishing Basket!

I used the Crackle Background stamp on a piece of Wood Textures paper.  Used Tranquil Textures paper for the water and the fish.  Used Color Pencils to add some color to the Fish and Basket.  I used the Stamparatus to stamp the Sentiment and Fisherman in the Background.

One Last Tree

I must admit, now that Lovely As a Tree is retiring......I am having some regret for not using it more and having more of YOU love this stamp set too!  So one last card.....a Birthday card for the 18 years this Stamp set has been with us!  Home Office shared a video with the Artist that designed this set and it was so informative.  But not able to share or I would!

This is a super SIMPLE card.  Crumb Cake card base, designer paper, Basic Black layer and the Tree stamped on a Crumb Cake layer.  I used Blends to color in the trunk and Spread some leaves.  Really like how this turned out for a Manly Card!

Use a different sentiment and this can be Thinking of You, Sympathy, Retirement, Father's Day, lots of Occasions!

Best Catch

Manly cards are always in demand and with Father's Day coming up this would be a Great Choice or for an Anniversary or Birthday.  The Crackle background gives a Vintage vibe and the torn edge on a Crumb Cake card base.

I colored with Colored pencils and Blended with the Clear Wink of Stella.  Added a hint of Crackle on the card base and popped up the Fish and Pear Pizzazz layer.  Gray Granite was used for the crackle.
