Americana Nivea Hand Cream

 This Stamp set is from 1999!  A lady is selling off her Mother's collection at a Storage facility until the end of September.  I spoke with her a few months ago about ways to sell Retired items and she is ALL in to rehome these items.  She has LOTS!  Mostly wood mount and this set was not even mounted on the BLOCKS!  I LOVE RED Rubber stamps and I only bought this set.  I showed some serious restraint!  

I love these images and knew they would fit well on Gift items.  And so easy to COLOR!!  As we celebrate Labor Day let's Share some LOVE with Family, Friends and All Others you come in contact with!  We are a bit broken right now, but we are America!  I will also be making some Americana cards.

Nivea Refresh for Fall

 I will have NEW FALL designs for Independence Uptown Market 9/12.  It may not feel like Fall yet....but hopefully soon!  I used some Fall papers and did some coloring on the Greetings.

Leaves, Mushrooms and the adorable Acorn!

And always room for some Purple!  My garden beds are full of Russian Sage, Purple Statice and even a Day Lily bloomed this week.  I should of taken a picture!  I have been watering faithfully to keep things alive!

Baby Card restock......

 Lots of Babies being born this Summer and I needed some NEW Baby cards.  I made 17 and here are a few that will be on the racks at the Independence Uptown Market 8/29.  Come SHOP local Saturday 8-1pm.   I also have NEW Coasters!!

I used lots of Bright colors and love embossing the Background so the look like little Quilts!

This set was on the Last chance list and I snagged one before it was gone!  Love this Rattle Die and the Hanger.

This sentiment is one of my Favorites and this Retired Stamp set will always be on my Shelf!

We have Girls and Boys and Neutral for when the Gender has not been revealed!

A nearby vendor makes Stuffed Elephants and I always try to have some Elephants in the Baby Cards!

Moonlit Floral Finished cards......

 I have made 40 new cards this week!  Stampin' Up paper inspires me and I can't wait to show you the August Product of the Month paper next week.  You can purchase the Product of the month item for $5 with a $75 minimum order.  Anyway...time for the reveal of the finished cards using Moonlit Floral.....

First up I wanted to find my Butterfly Dies....a small one...I was not successful.  But when paper is this gorgeous you do not want to detract your eye....so a Sentiment from a long ago Butterfly stamp set and a leaf die behind.

On this card I did not want to cover up the Golden Glow flowers....I added Golden Glow ribbon and Old Olive leaves.  I think this Leaf Die is from a Past Paper Pumpkin Add on.  Over the years many sets have leaf dies and we have had a few Leaf punches.....I love this sentiment so used it again!

This card is ALL out the paper!  Sentiment and Ribbon accent.

When paper is the focal point finding a FANCY Die can really step it up a notch!  And a few leaves to ground never hurts!

Same for this card....I had to add some more of these little Daisies.  I mean they are in this paper!  More leaves under the Sentiment.

This card on the Soft Seafoam card base gave me the opportunity to use Petunia Pop for this Blend colored focal point.  And below I used ALL the Daisy Die cuts to decorate this card.  I hope you try making multiples and let your creativity flow.....Moonlit Floral and many more papers are on sale until August 31st!

Moonlit Floral

 This 12x12 Designer paper is MOODY and Magical!  Dark Fern Florals paired with vibrant colored patterns. 167737  On Sale $11.05 while supplies last thru August 31st.  AND earn 2X Rewards on your order!  Today is the LAST DAY for 2X Rewards!  

No finished cards today.....I am tired!  Instead I am going to show you my process for making multiple cards.  Look at the back of your Designer paper pack and pick at least 3 card base colors.  I chose 4 colors Old Olive, Soft Seafoam, Berry Burst and Peaceful Pine.  

Score and cut the cardstock.  Mix up the cards, some Landscape, some Portrait.  Consider the orientation of the Designer paper.  I used 3 Strips of 4X12 paper and mixed and matched the patterns on these 7 cards! 

Old Olive card base and the Golden Glow flowers give this a very Earthy feel.  Try to use a Sentiment that does NOT cover all this BEAUTY!  Designer paper is 5 1/4X 4.

Soft Seafoam card base with the same Paper pattern above 4X4.  The leftover scrap 2 3/4 is big enough to use on another card or even 2!

Soft Seafoam card base with a Different 4X4 pattern and the same scrap as the above card.  

This Landscape card is on Peaceful Pine card stock.  Notice how it pulls the color of the background foliage.  Paper is 5 1/4 X 4.  

Same pattern as above 4X4 on Peaceful Pine cardstock.  The Bright Berry Burst pattern is the reverse side of the pattern below.  The little Flowers under the Butterfly are Berry Burst!  I'll cover up that glimpse of Golden Glow in the corner when I finish this card.

Berry Burst card stock with a different  back side of another pattern.  And below the 3 leftover scraps on Berry Burst card stock.  This is how I prepare and then I finish then at another time.  No paper scraps to lose I have 1 Old Olive card base left over.  So 8 cards out of 4 sheets of cardstock and 1 sheet of Designer paper will decorate 7 cards!  I hope you find this helpful and inspiring!  You CAN make very different cards with the same pack of Designer paper for ALL different Occasions!

The Designer paper colors listed showed Lost Lagoon and there it is in the leaves of this pattern.  Very Subtle until you add the card base and it POPS!  I also used some of the NEW Gingham paper to accent.  A scrap of ribbon in a scrap pile.  Such a Happy card!

Same Paper Patterns on a Calypso Coral card base.  I flipped the Gingham to the smaller check and another ribbon scrap.  

Back to Lost Lagoon and the reverse side as an accent with another Pattern from Brushed Beauty.  This card gives me Monet vibes!

Petal Pink card base with the same paper, this is such a versatile pack of paper!  And finally another back side of this Petal Pink brushed design on Calypso Coral.  I used a row from the Gingham to anchor the sentiment.   Sweet Words and Labels Dies and the Flowers from the Paper Pumpkin add on are used on these cards, just like yesterday!

Brushed with Beauty

 Another Beautiful Designer paper ON SALE is Brushed with Beauty.  167082  ON SALE for $10.63 while supplies last thru August 31st.  I was iffy on this paper until I cut into it and started to pair with matching cardstock.  This paper leans very Feminine but add some Mossy Meadow and a Masculine card is made.  First up same paper pattern with Mossy Meadow or Petal Pink!  This paper had a Vintage Vibe and Very Vanilla for the base color.

I used the Friendly Foliage Dies to cut the leaves.  These Dies are on the Last chance list!  167023  $16.80,  The Stamp set is sold out.  SAD face, but the Dies really make a nice focal point on a card.  

And the Petal Pink!  Same Designer paper pattern and 2 different looks!  I used the Sweet Words and Labels Bundle for the Sentiment Frame.  167628  $52.00  LOVE these Dies!  The Sentiments are designed to pair with the Winnie the Pooh Suite of products.  These Dies also will cut out images in the Silly Old Bear 12X12 paper 167616  $13.00.

Another Die from the Sweet Words and Labels Bundle on the next 2 cards.  I had to do Tear and Turn so you could see 4 more paper patterns.  This Darling Duckling and Petal Pink could even be a Baby Card!  I added some Retired Petal Pink ribbon and Flowers cut with a Paper Pumpkin Add on Die.  Detailed Flora 168664  $13.00.  You must be a Paper Pumpkin subscriber to purchase these add on Dies. 

This is my FAVORITE paper pattern.  I struggles with choosing a card base from the below colors.  The stripes look Crumb Cake, but Crumb Cake is not listed and DID NOT compliment!  My mind kept saying Tip Top Taupe a long Retired IN color and I think its a perfect match!  Petal Pink strip of Cardstock and a Sprinkle of Flowers.  More cards are in the works and will be on the Card Rack at Independence Uptown Market Saturday 8am-1pm.

Cute as a Bug Boxes.....

 More Cute as a Bug paper on our NEW Gable Boxes.  SO easy to decorate with Designer paper.  I used the NEW IN Color Gingham Gallery paper on the sides.  This paper should be back in stock the week of August 24th.  New In Color Golden Glow is a very close match with Crushed Curry.  Crisp Cantaloupe blends well with Petal Pink.

The Mushroom Box is so Earthy and love the Golden Glow Gingham on the sides.  These Mushroom Dies are a bit labor intensive but so worth it!

Another Mushroom Gable Box and I wanted an Old Olive Green Contrast for the sides, so I searched thru my Retired paper and love this pattern for the sides.  

The sunlight when I took this picture almost makes this look blue.....but it is Old Olive and a perfect match.

Cute as a Bug

 This week I'm working on some Cards and Boxes using this adorable designer paper!  Cute as a Bug 166994 is On Sale for $10.63!  While supplies last thru August 31st.  I spent Sunday crafting with the Cute as a Bug paper and Bundle.  For the First time I cut into the Mushroom patterned paper and used the Mushroom Dies......these turned out so CUTE!!

I cut the Mushroom in Crumb Cake first and then the Caps in Crushed Curry, Real Red and Mossy Meadow.  Pull colors from the Designer paper and Shades of colors.  I listed the paper colors at the bottom and the Red is actually Poppy Parade, but Real Red works as well.  I added the Cap and love the extra dimension this provides.

Next card features the Marching Ants with accents of Mossy Meadow and Old Olive.  Stamped the Ants and colored with Blends.

I love how this Worm turned out.....so elegant against a Mossy Meadow Circle on an Old Olive card base.  Out for a stroll and Spreading JOY!

This paper pattern is very Busy!  I grounded it with a strip of the Daisy pattern.  A simple Punch sentiment with a Single Ant for embellishment.  I will have these cards and MANY More this Saturday at the Market.  8-1pm.  The Sweet Bugs Bundle is still available 167002  $46.75 for Stamp set and Dies.  Check the PAPER Sale and grab some coordinating cardstock!
