Painted Patch

 I have been hoarding this paper until Fall.....we had a Day and then back to 90 degrees so I CHOPPED it up anyway!  I have not used this Technique for a long time.  Cut at least 3 patterns 4 X 5 1/4.  Stack them and then CHOP them into 3 pieces.  Use Angles or stick to Rectangles.  Mix and match for a Pattern mixed background!  Here are my card fronts:

3 patterns above on Timid Tiger card base.  

Below I used 2 like patterns and threw in a scrap from the Sunflower paper(more of that tomorrow) on a Cajun Craze card base.

And this Mix is on Secret Sea card stock.  Here you see what happens when you want a different pattern and the Angle is not quite right!  You improvise and COVER the OOPS later!

And here is a finished card,  I stamped and colored some Pumpkins and used Timid Tiger for the Sentiment.  Now that I study this picture....I see Acorns, Leaves and even Mushrooms!  I need to use those DIES I featured last week and add some embellishments!!

Americana Cards

 Vacation is over and Market is back Saturday 9/12. 8am-1pm. I love how this Retired embossing folder looks like a fluttering Flag!  Not Quite Navy card stock came out of the Retired Bin for a spin!

Americana Nivea Hand Cream

 This Stamp set is from 1999!  A lady is selling off her Mother's collection at a Storage facility until the end of September.  I spoke with her a few months ago about ways to sell Retired items and she is ALL in to rehome these items.  She has LOTS!  Mostly wood mount and this set was not even mounted on the BLOCKS!  I LOVE RED Rubber stamps and I only bought this set.  I showed some serious restraint!  

I love these images and knew they would fit well on Gift items.  And so easy to COLOR!!  As we celebrate Labor Day let's Share some LOVE with Family, Friends and All Others you come in contact with!  We are a bit broken right now, but we are America!  I will also be making some Americana cards.

The case is yellowed with age, but the stamps LIVE on........I did a poor job of trimming as I FORGOT this was a thing!  And started over...and may have used the wrong block for the 3 stars!  If your stamp is crooked it a very likely you will stamp crooked!!  If you are interested in seeing this Storage Unit the seller is Michelle Cunningham.  Search her on Facebook and you will see her post.  You must message her and set up an appointment to shop.  The Storage unit is in the Lakewood area.  If you need any more info message me or leave a comment.

Nivea Refresh for Fall

 I will have NEW FALL designs for Independence Uptown Market 9/12.  It may not feel like Fall yet....but hopefully soon!  I used some Fall papers and did some coloring on the Greetings.

Leaves, Mushrooms and the adorable Acorn!

And always room for some Purple!  My garden beds are full of Russian Sage, Purple Statice and even a Day Lily bloomed this week.  I should of taken a picture!  I have been watering faithfully to keep things alive!
