Chalkboard Verses

I used the Chalkboard Technique for my first card swap when I was introduced to Stampin' Up in 2003 and I don't think I have used this technique since.  Chalkboard is all the rage and many of our Stamp sets work well for this technique.

This card is the most simple version of chalkboard, stamp with Whisper White craft ink on Basic Black card stock and set with your heat tool. You could emboss, but then you lose the feel of chalk. You can also add color to your chalk, but today we are keeping it simple.

"Feels Good " is a great stamp set for chalkboard.  These sentiments fits nicely in many of our framelits.  I used the Ovals, cutting out the sentiment, then moving up one size and cutting a Tangerine Tango oval.  I then cut 1 inch strips of Sycamore Street Designer paper and used the
1 1/4 inch Square punch to flag the ends.  The Pool Party Core'dinations mat is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and sanded lightly.  Adhere the Designer paper strips and then pop up the chalkboard.  Quick and easy to duplicate in any color combo with our matching designer paper!!
