This stamp set is one of my favorite and it will most likely retire this year, so I wanted to use this cute little girl one more time on a Valentine! Plus use up that 2 1/2 circle of Primrose Petals card stock from yesterday's card!
I try to use up my pieces and parts as soon as possible or sadly they end up in a pile never to be rescued!
I matted a piece of More Amore' designer paper on another piece of Primrose Petals card stock on a Very Vanilla card base. The 2 1/2 circle was placed on the large doily from Delicate Doilies Sizzlet. I stamped the girl with Black Stazon ink and colored with a Blender Pen and Pool Party, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple and Daffodil Delight classic inks. I punched with the 1 3/4 inch Scallop Circle punch and popped this layer up on a few dimensionals. The sentiment from Seasonal Sayings which is carrying over from the Holiday mini was inked with Raspberry Ripple and stamped. I then embossed with the Adorning Accents Heart folder. Tied a bow with Pool Party Ruffled ribbon and adhered to the card.
Valentine's Day is right around the corner, check my calendar for classes!

Bloomin' Hummingbird
Today would have been my Mother's 90th Birthday, she has been gone since 2006, but I think of her often and her love for birds! Mom would sit and do crafts and watch the Birds at the Bird feeders.
This Hummingbird from Bloomin' Marvelous is looking for some nectar in these flowers. The Primrose Petals mat is punched with the 2 1/2 circle punch, sentiment stamped and then embossed with the Vine Street embossing folder. I sanded the leaves for that vintage look.
Lay the mat on the Whisper White card base and use a pencil to trace a faint line at the bottom right edge of the circle. This will be your guide to stamp the flowers and leaves that will peek out from under the circle. Stamp the Hummingbird within this circle. Adhere mat to card base. Randomly stamp flowers and leaves on a 1 X 5 1/4 piece of Whisper White card stock. Stamp 2 extra flowers to snip on a scrap of Whisper White.
I tied Primrose Petals satin stitched ribbon on the strip and adhered to the card front. I added the snipped flowers with dimensionals and a few pearls.

By the Tide, Mosaic Tile Technique
Today would have been my Father's 88th Birthday, He loved getting my creations!! And Blue was is favorite color, this one's for you Dad!
Mat measurements for the above card. Chocolate chip 3 1/2 X 3 1/2. Marina Mist 3 1/4 X 3 1/4. Whisper White. 3X3. Card Base Bashful Blue 4 1/4 X 5 1/2. Sentiment from "Wishes your Way".
"By The Tide" is a must have Masculine stamp set! The pictures do not show the shimmer, but trust me these cards shimmer!
Both card uses the Mosaic Tile Technique. This technique works well with multiple themed stamps. Choose colors, cut your focal image in a Square and stamp. Cut image in Half twice, them emboss with your favorite embossing folder. Sponge edges and pop up with dimensionals on a contrasting color mat cut 1/4 inch larger than your original square. The above mats are Whisper White 3 1/2X 3 1/2. Island Indigo 3 3/4X 3 3/4. Crumb Cake 4X4. Sentiment from "Oh Hello".
I used the NEW Borders Scoring Plate on both cards to create the waves. SU has a great video to explain this new tool at www.stampinup.com/showmehow
I stamped my sentiments first before using the scoring plate.
Champagne Shimmer paint was sponged on both cards for a watery look.

Patterned Thanks
Here is another cute card with the Sale-a-bration set Patterned Occasions. A very easy card using Parkers Patterns designer paper, great bright paper that can be used for any occasion.
I started with a Daffodil Delight card base, added a 2 X 5 1/2 strip of Designer paper and ran it thru the Chevron embossing folder. I stamped the Elephant image 3 times on a 1 1/2 inch strip of Very Vanilla card stock. I made sure the stamp was even with the edge of the clear block. This is a good opportunity use your grid paper as a guide. Place your card stock even with a line on the grid paper and line up your stamp. Stamp, re-ink and move down the card stock until you have stamped all your images. I tied Daffodil Delight stitched ribbon between the elephants, then used dimensionals to pop up the entire panel.

I used the Butterfly stamp from "Bloomin' Marvelous" and did you know the Butterfly punch in the mini matches the image in this stamp set? How cool is that!!

Cutting out the pants was a cinch! The Sycamore Street Designer paper and Island Indigo card stock were cropped with the 1 1/4 inch Square punch. Angle your paper and take a chomp to form the V. The sentiment was punched with the small oval punch and trimmed, then layered on a small oval of Island Indigo. Each of the Stamps in this Sale-a-bration set has a sentiment below the image. Did you know you can cut these apart for easier use? Yes you can, (Clear stamps) only. If you want the sentiment below the image, simply add it back on your clear block! I love this option!!

Madison Avenue
I have been making so many cards lately my Creative juices were blocked with this stamp set. I only used one stamp from "Madison Avenue"on this card, but the Sentiment from "Feels Good" in the Mini makes up for it! Love all these sentiments and they make a Great Focal point.
I did discover that the smallest Floral Frames framelits matched this stamp perfectly and the design in the Sycamore Street designer paper. So not fussy cutting on this project!
Embossing with Perfect Polka dots on the Rich Razzleberry mat and Vine Street on the Pool Party Core'dinations paper. 2 Flowers stamped with Summer Starfruit Classic ink and the middle flower, cropped from Sycamore Street paper with the framelit. I then cut 2 more from solid Summer Starfruit and 1 from Rich Razzleberry to add behind each flower. A Brights Brad in the center flower and Buttons from the Sycamore Street ribbons and buttons bundle tied with a snip of Pool Party Bakers twine for the stamped flowers. All popped up on a dimensional. Cute as a button!!

Celebrate Feeling Sentimental
This card featuring the Ferris Wheel image has a more whimsical feel than yesterday's vintage card. The Sycamore Street designer paper has such vibrant colors and patterns and matches the ribbon from the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button pack.
I wanted to show you 3 of the paper patterns on this card. I cut strips 1 inch by 5 1/2. I embossed each strip with a different embossing folder for added texture. Polka Dots, Chevron and Square Lattice. I adhered them to the Crumb Cake card base leaving room to stamp the sentiment "Celebrate" in Island Indigo. I added a strip of Island Indigo and Tangerine Tango ribbon to the strips.
The Ferris Wheel was stamped in Versamark and embossed with Pewter embossing powder. Rounded corners and matted on Island Indigo card stock and popped up on dimensionals. Super simple and appropriate for any one's Birthday!!

Ferris Wheel Feeling Sentimental
The Ferris Wheel was stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink on Whisper White card stock, corner rounded and then matted on Rich Razzleberry card stock. The sentiment was stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink on the bottom edge of the card base. The card base was embossed with the Delicate Designs embossing folder. This folder reminds me of bunting. I adhered the Sycamore Street Designer paper to the card base.
Added a 3/4 by 5 1/2 strip of Rich Razzleberry card stock to show off the daisy tape. I placed 4 daisy's to the right and one to the left. No use to waste 2 under the Ferris Wheel image! I popped up the Ferris wheel and added a Rich Razzleberry Button from the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button bundle tied with a snip of White Bakers twine.
The new Delicate Details Lace tape is a great substitute for ribbon. It comes with 2 rolls in the above design and another wider tape, each roll is 3.28 feet and will embellish many cards. Below is a photo of the roll of daisy tape. It peels easily off the clear window sheet and can be re-positioned, trust me I know!!

Feeling Sentimental Unicycle
This Sale-a-bration stamp set screams vintage, so my first card is very vintage. The card base is Crumb Cake card stock. The Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder was inked with Early Expresso classic ink and ran thru the Big Shot. I cut a 4X 5 1/4 mat from First Edition Specialty paper and repeated the inked embossing folder technique. I ripped the First Edition paper and adhered to the card base.
I embossed the Unicycle image from the stamp set with Versamark and Early Expresso embossing powder. Rounded the corners and adhered to a Early Expresso mat with rounded corners.
A ticket is stamped from the stamp set "That's the Ticket" punched and pinned with a snippet of Natural 7/16 trim ribbon.

Bleached Butterfly
This Butterfly stamp is fast becoming a favorite! So many possibilities, and using bleach on all our Stampin' Up colors is one I want to explore. This card was so easy and the Monarch look was achieved with an aqua painter and a teaspoon of bleach. I inked the stamp with Versamark and stamped on Pumpkin Pie card stock. Early Expresso embossing powder fills in all the detail on this stamp. Paint with bleach to remove as much color as you want. Remove too much and simply sponge more color back. Dry with your heat tool to prevent any bleach from transferring to your card base. I scruffed the edges with our new distressing tool and adhered to a Early Expresso card base. The sentiment is from Bloomin' Marvelous a Sale-a-bration stamp set available Jan 22nd with a $50 purchase.

Bloomin Marvelous Take 2
I love this ribbon and have been struggling to use it because it is gray. Gray can be such an elegant color if paired with the right tones. Pink is a common combo, but I wanted to go bold. So I chose Summer Starfruit! I know this color has to grow on you, but I think this card will get those seeds germinating and you will be planting some Summer Starfruit on your next order!
This is another Sale-a-bration Stamp set that has simple images and GREAT sentiments! I cut a card base of Basic Gray card stock. The Whisper White mat is 4 by 5 1/4. I stamped the flowers with Summer Starfruit ink in 2 rows across the card making sure most of them would peek out from under this gorgeous ribbon. The Sentiment is stamped in Basic Gray ink. I then embossed with the Vine Street embossing folder. This folder makes the flowers look like the are growing up this card.
A ribbon slide was placed on a piece of 1 1/4 Two toned ribbon cut to go across the card and tuck under. I placed a dimensional under the slide to hold the ribbon in place, then used snail adhesive to adhere the ribbon to the back of the Whisper White. I then used Tombow adhesive to adhere the Whisper White to the Basic Gray base. Basic Rhinestone Jewels were added and this cards truly SPARKLES!
This ribbon also comes in Pink tones, I can see this for Easter, both shades. More to come........stayed tuned..........

Embossed Butterfly
When I first saw this Butterfly I knew I had to have it in my collection, I love Butterflies and this speciment is perfect for embossing!!
I uses Naturals White card stock to take advantage of the Natural speckles allready present on this paper. The stamp was inked up with Versamark and stamped. Pool Party Embossing Powder was used for the main image. An Aqua Painter and Chocolate Chip ink fills in the wings. The Sentiment is "From My Heart" stamp set in the Big catalog. The card base is Naturals White with a Chocolate Chip mat, I then spritzed the entire card with Chocolate Chip ink for that spattered look.
Tomorrow we will Bleach a Butterfly!!

Bottle Cap Valentine
This card uses the Small Bottle caps flattened by the Big Shot. Pictures will follow the description showing how to flatten the caps.
I used Basic Gray and Very Vanilla cardstock to accent this piece of More Amore' designer paper. This sheet is designed more for a scrapbook page, but it crops down perfectly to make this card. I sponged the edges with Basic Grey ink. The Heart embossing folder from the Adorning accents trio of folders adds the raised hearts on the paper. The 1/2 circle punch of Very Vanilla makes a perfect backdrop for the Red Glimmer Heart punched with the Owl punch. This mini heart comes in so handy. If you have any glimmer paper scraps, punch hearts before you throw them away. Store your mini hearts in an empty button or brad container for later use.
Place your Soda Pop Top crimped edges down on a cutting plate on the lowest platform of you Big Shot. Add a top cutting plate and roll thru the Big Shot. Remove top cutting plate and turn Soda Pop Top over(sharp edges will now be on the back). It is ready to embellish!!

Miss You Bird
Another Bird card and it's a Valentine! This mailbox made me think of the Postage Punch which has not been used for a long time. The Sentiment on the stamp is "miss you", perfect for the postage theme, but I stamped crooked!! And as I always say "we can fix this!" So a Valentine was born!
I used the new Valentine Special set and punched it out with the small Oval punch and layered it on some Real Red card stock and covered up the slanted sentiment! No one will ever know, except my Blog followers!
I used some new Spring Occasions Mini items on this card. More Amore' designer paper and the Hearts a Flutter Bundle. I stamped 3 different hearts in Real Red Classic ink on Whisper White card stock. The Framelits make cutting out images a snap with the Big Shot. Buy the Stamps and Framelits in a bundle and save 15%!
The Pool Party edges were embossed with the new embossing folder Needlepoint Border. You get 2 folders, the stitched scalloped edge pictured and cross stitch. I popped up the hearts on the Real Red Postage stamps. Valentine on it's way!! The Birdie is colored with a Pool Party marker and a touch of More Mustard marker on his beak!

Ticket to Your Heart
"That's the Ticket" is a new Stamp set in the Mini with lots of Seasonal Sentiments. Lots of texture on this card. The Large Heart was cut with the Hearts Collection Framelits, the Small Heart with Heart a Flutter Framelits which includes small hearts and banners. The Primrose petals Core'dinations paper was run thru the Bigshot with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder and sanded. Love this look and color!! The doily was cut with Delicate Doilies Sizzlits Die.
The tickets were stamped with Primrose Petals classic ink and punched out with the ticket punch. I used White Bakers twine to string them together. HMMMM, I wonder if this stamp fits within the ticket wheel? I'll have to check that out my next trip to the craft room.
Wow it fits perfectly!! Too lazy to change the card, but you can see above that the punched ticket images fit nicely on the wheeled tickets! Pop them up, personalize and the wheeled tickets are simple to snip out with your scissors. I feel so much better knowing I can get the continuous ticket look!
The ribbon is from the mini and is iridescent in person, seeing lots of projects using this ribbon. I layered it all on a whisper white mat embossed with the Fancy Fan folder and a Pink Pirouette card base. A frilly Valentine for your Loved one!

Calypso Coral Collage
I could use this Tea for Two paper all day long! The colors are so soft and Springtime! We have Bottle caps and a stamp set to match, more sample coming soon. I wanted to get ONE made and out here as soon as possible. Enlarge the card and you can see all the details. Notice the difference in the first bottle cap and the one below? The Mini catalog showed version 2, but how do you get that? With the BIG SHOT!! Place the bottle caps "edges down" on a cutting plate. Your platform should be on the lowest platform. Add cutting plate and roll thru. It will feel like NOTHING is happening, BUT your bottle cap will now be flattened perfectly and much more mailing friendly!! =)
The new Needlepoint Border embossing folder adds some interest where the paper meets the Very Vanilla card stock. The Tea for Two paper was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. When you are unsure what to use, reach for the Polka dots, just enough texture without compromising your pattern.
The flower image in the new stamp set Collage Curios mirrored the flower in the designer paper. I inked it up with the Calypso Coral marker and stamped on Very Vanilla card stock. I inked the word image in Crumb Cake and stamped over the Flower. Then inked the ring image in Early Expresso and stamped again. Punched with the 1 inch circle and it fits in the Bottle cap, a glue dot holds it in place. The larger flower was stamped and cut the the Secret Garden stamp set and framelit bundle. Stamped with Versamark and clear embossing powder on Calypso Coral card stock. A Pearl in the middle and a bow of Calypso Coral Bakers twine finish the card.
