Epic Day for Mom

Have you noticed I love this paper?  Today's card uses the flip side of the Balloon card and I ran the paper thru the Big Shot in the Honeycomb embossing folder.  We are all hoping a Hexagon punch or two will be in the new catalog, BUT until then if you add 2 pieces of card stock as shims to your Big Shot sandwich the folder will cut thru the paper and allow you to tear and cut away hexagons with a ragged edge.  Love this look and you will see more on my This N That album as I add pages.  Until then here is a quick card for Mom using limited supplies.

The cards base is Sahara Sand and the strip is Naturals Composition Specialty paper 1 1/2 X 5 1/2.  Love this paper also and it will probably retire, so want to use it while I can!  I stamped the Sentiment from Wonderful Mother in Early Expresso ink.  The Natural 7/16 trim ribbon is perfect texture to compliment the Calypso Coral Honeycombs.  I added 2 Beautiful Wings Embosslit Butterflies and a Flower trim rose with Glue Dots.  The entire card was spritzed with Early Expresso ink.
