Gift Certificate MDS

I don't dabble is MDS as often as I should.  But a customer asked me if I had Gift Certificates and I said SURE!!  So I made one!   Lookie!!

This really is a easy project and I printed from my computer on Naturals Ivory card stock.  The colors look faint and that was how I wanted it.  In MDS you can adjust the Opacity on the colors and get this shaded look.

 After printing and trimming out my Certificate 4 X 8, I looked at the envelope punch board and found the measurements for my envelope.  Trimmed a piece of 12X12 down to 9 5/8 X 9 5/8 and followed the measurements on the punch board.  Scored and punched, folded on the score lines.  I did trim the bottom and top flap straight across.  Used some snail adhesive to adhere the envelope and the Certificate fits perfectly!!

I used the retired Crumb cake netting (on the Clearance Rack) to tie around the envelope and added a layered Festive Flurry Snowflake tag using the same colors that were on the Gift Certificate.  MDS had all our colors, so everything matches!!
