Candle Light Christmas

This luminary is so simple to make and the Candlelight Christmas designer paper gives you 2 sheets so you can make (8) 3 inch luminaries!! If you want taller luminaries you can get (6) 4 inch luminaries. Use the little flameless candles and watch the warm glow on your mantle or any place you choose to decorate.
Cut the flocked window sheet at 3 inches wide by 12.  Score at 2 3/4 inches, 4 times.  You will have a one inch piece remaining.  Trim this flap down to 1/4 inch.  Line with sticky strip.  Carefully fold on the scored lines.  Remove the sticky strip and adhere to the inside of the opposite edge to form the square.
For the base, cut a 1 inch by 12 inch piece of Early Expresso Core'dinations card stock.  Score at
2 7/8 inches, 4 times.  This allows for a little extra room to fit around the flocked base.  Trim remaining card stock to 1/4 inch.  Emboss using the Woodgrain Embossing folder, emboss one end, turn and emboss other end.  Add sticky strip to the flap, wrap around the luminary and adhere.  You may want to add some glue dots or sticky strip to each corner inside the base piece to adhere to the flocked piece.
Punch 2 Ornaments using the Ornament punch from Red Glimmer paper, add a sentiment and some tulle ribbon.  Use glue dots to add these to the corners.  These ornaments will cover your seams and the overlap on your embossing for the base.
