I used an Early Expresso mat behind the embossed panel.

Blending Brush Sunflower

 Yesterday I showed you the Sunflower embossing folder on White and Pumpkin Pie card stock.  I dug out a Blending Brush and added Darling Ducking, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake and Pebble Path inks to the image.

Start with the lightest colors first.  Dab on ink pad and brush lightly on image.  Keep adding color until you like the look.  Move on to next color.  No need to clean the brush, just rub off on grid paper.

I added an Early Expresso mat on a Granny Apple Green card base.  Layered Circle punches for the Sentiment.  Super quick and easy card.  The colors are endless!  Shop 24/7 at my website:  KathySwanson.stampinup.net

Fall Plaid Embossing folder

 I finally had a chance to use the Plaid 3D Embossing folder on the NEW Two Tone cardstock.  On this card I stamped leaves in Cajun Craze ink on Cajun Craze before I embossed.  Crumb Cake card base.

I used my worn out nail buffer and sanded the raised bars lightly.  Love this worn look with so little effort!  A Nested Essential Die and a NEW DIE accent this popular sentiment.  Here is a close up of the texture on this card.

On this card I mixed the Brick and Plaid embossing folder with a scrap of this Pumpkin Designer paper.  Once again sanded with my nail buffer.

And finally the Early Expresso Plaid with a Leaf stamped on a Crumb Cake circle.  I used the Cajun Craze Plaid scrap to pick up the Leaf color.  You can buy this Two Tone paper in multiple color packs.  Christmas is right around the corner so get this in your cart with some Holiday colors and give your cards some Time worn texture!
