Lovely Floral Embossing Folder Spotlight

I have really struggled using this embossing folder.  I tried to use as a background and felt like I was covering it up.  I saw a card made by Nancy Novak and decided to try her idea of Spot lighting the image on a card front.

My first attempt is a similar layout using different colors and Tranquil Textures designer paper. The card base is Soft Seafoam and the Mint Macaron strip is the reverse side of the paper.  The Strip was not long enough to go across the card, so I snipped it and added to each edge and the Night of Navy Square covers up the gap!!  This is a good trick to use up your scraps!

I added some Pearls to the Flowers and a Simple Sentiment cut with the Stitched Framelits.  Now I need to Branch out and try some more colors.  Designer paper can really help with ideas and color combinations.

Just learned something in the catalog......embossing folders in this light color are DYNAMIC folders which use 1 plate when running thru the Big Shot!!  Page 222 gives you the correct sandwich to use for Dynamic and Standard embossing folders!!  And you can easily tell which folder is which by the color of the paper embossed, how did I miss this?
