Oh I love this Square Template! It is so Easy to use with the corners as your guide. Here is a close up of the finished card.
First the Template, another piece of Whisper White card stock, this time 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 because I was on Auto pilot ! Take the Largest Square from the Layering Square Framelits and center and cut.
Save that square for your card front. Then ROTATE the same Framelit and cut again.
Your Template should look like this. Label one corner as the TOP to use in the Stamparatus.
Position on the Stamparatus and you are ready to begin stamping.
I used Abstract Impressions Stamps and Thinlits again and focused on the Butterfly image. I first stamped the Butterfly body in Crumb Cake. It is so easy to position the stamp once and stamp. Then move the Square and stamp again. This Template really gives a nice flowing even image!
I stamped all the Butterfly Bodies first and then moved to the wings.
I chose Pineapple Punch and Mango Melody inks for the Butterfly. I positioned my stamp and then inked in Pineapple Punch, then rolled the Mango Melody over the outside edge of the stamp.
Once you position the Wings, they will line up perfectly with each Butterfly body. I then cut a Butterfly with the Springtime Impression Thinlits using the Garden Impressions 6X6 paper stack.
I laid the Butterfly on the inside of the card to allow me to judge where to stamp the sentiment. Positioned and picked up the stamp with the Stamparatus plate and stamped in Crumb Cake. The side of the Stamparatus is open so your card can hang out the side and not get in the way.
My Crumb Cake ink pad needs re-inked, but I can ink and stamp over and over again because the stamp lands in the same spot EVERY time!!
I embossed the Mango Melody card front with the Petal Burst embossing folder. I cut the Scalloped Square in Pineapple punch and popped up on the card front of this Z fold card. The Pineapple Punch Flower fills in the center.
On the inside I added the Large Butterly with some pearls and stamped a Mango Melody Butterfly.
Here is the Z fold card stretched out.....cut at 4 1/4 X 11. Score at 5 1/2 and 2 3/4.
