Circle of Love

Today I am showing how to use a Template with your Stamparatus!  There are many ways to do this and You tube is full of videos.  A Template will make your stamping a Breeze with the Stamparatus!

Lets get started.....with a Circle template. Cut a Piece of card stock 6 X 6 inches.  Make a mark at 3 inches on each side.  Then using a ruler draw lines in the below pattern.  Position the Largest Circle Framelit and cut out.

Label a corner to always place in the corner of your Stamparatus.  You can use this template over and over again!

Cut another Circle in Whisper White to stamp your images.  I also cut a Scalloped Circle to frame the White Circle.

I am using 4 NEW colors on this card.  Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.

I used the Abstract Impressions stamp set as the images fit perfectly in this circle.  I started with this image, notice how it fits nicely in 1/4 of the Circle.  Position stamp and pick up with the Stamparatus plate.

The Top magnet holds down the Template.  The Bottom magnet holds the Circle in place.  I inked the stamp with the Soft Sea Foam and stamped.  Since this is a 2 step stamp, I flipped the Stamparatus plate and added the next stamp.

You can see that stamp in this photo, inked in Granny Apple Green.  I first stamped over the original image and then rotated the Circle and stamped again.  Flipped the plates again......

And stamped the Soft Sea Foam.  Keep rotating the Circle and Flipping the plates and stamping.  Your Stamps are always in the right position!!!

Here is the finished Circle background.  I used another NEW tool the Simply Shammy to clean the stamps and plates before I moved on with my Design.

Next I added the Flower image and stamped in Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.  Using the same Technique.  Using Both sides of the plates and moving the Circle to Create the Design.

You can see the Flower stamps positioned below.  I had cleaned the plates with the Shammy.  The Shammy can be rinsed and used over and over again.

Here is the finished Circle and the Scallop for the Background.

I then decided to add the Sentiment to the image.  The Stamparatus makes this so easy.  Place the Circle back in the template and position the Sentiment.

You can stamp the Sentient over and over again to get a nice dark image.

Another feature of this Stamp Set are the Matching Springtime Impressions Thinlits.  I ran this die back and forth thru the Bigshot 3-4 times to insure the cuts were thru the card stock.

The Die Brush works wonders to remove the cut outs.

I added this cut out to the corner of the card with Tombow glue.  The Circle is then popped up on the card front and Polka Dot ribbon added.  Here is a close up.
