I made cards today!!

Can you believe it?  Actually made 1 card Friday night for the Stamp a Stack and then 1 more after as I was picking up.  The Rose Wonder cards have really caught my attention so I did a bit of a twist on the swap cards I received.

First up is how to fill the entire background with a pattern from the "Love Blossoms" paper stack in the Occasions catty.  First cut the Rose from a 5 1/4 X 4 piece of  Whisper White, save the empty cut out mat for this card.  Save the White Rose Outline cut out for the next card.  The mat is then backed with your paper pattern.  A 6 X 6 paper from the paper stack can be cut at a diagonal so you can back 2 roses!!  Adhere your patterned paper to the Whisper White mat with Tombow.  Stamp your sentiment, I used "And Many More".  Then cut the Rose from Basic Black.  Here you are using the Outline portion.  Punch out all your bits and pieces, add a little Tombow and lay it carefully over the patterned paper inside the mat.  What a striking card.  Pop up the entire panel over a Whisper White card base.

Card 2 uses the Whisper White leftover outline, but with a different twist.  I traced around the leaves of the Thinlit on the Green Pattern paper, then cut the leaves out with my scissors.  Adhere the leaves behind the leaf portions.  Adhere the Rose to your card, I used a Calypso Coral card base.  Pretty cute even at this stage with a Coral Rose and patterned leaves........but you can make it even BETTER!!!
 I chose another pattern from Pretty petals for the Rose portion.  Just cut the rose from this paper and carefully pick out the pieces of the rose.  Now use your Tombow and add glue to the open spaces on your card front.  Add the pieces like putting together a jigsaw puzzle!  Not to hard, just don't lose a piece!  Add your sentiment and maybe a pearl and WALA!!  Love it!!
