And I am dreaming of cards......

Ok I think I have my mojo back, I am dreaming of cards!!  And this Butterfly inspired by a swap shown a few days ago was my main dream focus.  I tried to imitate a Monarch.  Tried putting colored cardstock behind, but it did not look right.  I used Gorgeous Grunge inked in Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Calypso Coral and Momento Black.  Stamped the Grunge and Stamped the Sentiment, then embossed the Mat piece with Fluttering embossing folder.  Then adhered to a Whisper White card base and then added the Butterfly only using Tombow down the middle.  Scrunch up the wings and a strip of pearls for accent.  I tried to draw some Antenna with not much success, so covered that with a White Jute Thread colored with a Crushed Curry Marker.

So there you have it a Simple card for any Occasion and the sky is the limit on Color Choice!!  I know many of you have Gorgeous Grunge in you craft room.  If you don't have the Butterfly Thinlits add them to you order.  Or try this with a Flower or any Intricate die.  LOVE this LOOK!
