Wetlands

I love the look of this new stamp set and the color combo used in the Big catalog inspired this card.  I like how the new book identifies the colors so there is no guess work! 

I stamped directly on Naturals White card stock, NO layers, NO embellishments!  The picture does not do it justice. 

How'd I do it.....easy.  Inked up the Summer Starfruit ink on the sea oats and stamped once, twice and the third, much lighter.  These juicy ink pads really hold the ink!  I then stamped the birds in Night of Navy.  I then colored just the grass under the goose with a crumb cake marker and filled in to create a horizon.  The rest is sponging.  Marina Mist first, Rich Razzleberry and a bit of Crumb Cake.  The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy.
