Today's Project.....Coasters

Time to make the Coasters!!  It is a process and I want these ready by Saturday for the Market!

Step 1   Wipe your tile down with a lightly dampened towel to remove the dust.  Let dry, I turn on my kitchen ceiling fan to help with this step.  

Step 2  Choose stamps that fill a good portion of a 4X4 square. 

Red Rubber stamps work the best!  Choose stamps with Line images that are easy to color!

 

Step 3   Listen to your tile....these tiles are natural stone and have imperfections.  Try to save your smooth tiles for more detailed stamps and the others for stamps that can hide the imperfections.

Step 4   Ink with Stazon ink and Stamp with even pressure.  Pull stamp off quickly to avoid smears. Let dry at least a day before you start to color!!  If really humid weather, WAIT for a dry day to stamp as the Stazon may bleed into the Coaster.
