This has been a LOOOONG week of crafting and after loading the car and checking my list I realized I needed a blog post! Oh NO!! I made one last project.......
These ornaments have been sitting by my sink for at least 3 years. Last year I finally soaked and peeled the labels off the backs and let them dry.....for an entire year! I wanted to make sure!! And now I realize I probably should have sealed these with some clear coat.....Oh well not happening now. Disclaimer....DO NOT get your ornament WET! And for those of you picturing my sink stacked with ornaments for 3 years, I am a lucky gal, I have a sink in my basement craft room with a counter. This space collects things, lots of crafty things!
I had to use the "truck" from Farmhouse Christmas, stamped in Momento ink and colored with Real Red Blends, Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and Black regular marker. These ornaments are not flat, so I found that rocking and rolling the stamp from one side to the other gave me a great image! The Tree is from Winter Woods and I inked in Shaded Spruce and Stamped, it was scary....but I like how this turned out. I used a Crumb Cake marker to add a trunk. If you see these on Clearance at your Craft stores in the coming weeks......grab some for NEXT YEAR!!!
