Blueberry Bushel For the Mom's.....

This color makes me think of something my Grandmother used to say.......I love you a Bushel and a Peck and a Hug around the Neck!  Anyone else ever hear that saying?  Be the 1st Person to Comment with a saying your Family says and a little Stamping prize will be coming your way!

I did not have any Blueberries to stamp, but love this Real Red, Whisper White and Blueberry Bushel combo.  We never picked Blueberries in Illinois, but Wow did we pick some Strawberries!  By the Bushel at a place called Dasso's.  We took roasting pans, pails, cake pans, you name it and we filled then with luscious Strawberries.  The trunk of the car would be over flowing and neighbors would come to our house to buy some berries.  Such a simple wonderful time!

I used 1 Retiring stamp set, the Basket and Berries from "Basket of Wishes" and the sentiment from "You're Inspiring".  Water colored with Crumb Cake, Real Red and the Lemon Lime Twist marker.  Then blended with Clear Wink of Stella.

This Dotted Ribbon is so adorable and will be available in the New Catalog on June 1st.  It was perfect so I had to use it!!  Blueberry Bushel is a NEW IN Color and will be available June 1st also.  You can buy the Ink pads in a Bundle, check them out on my website!

Make sure and HUG all your Moms and Grand Moms around the NECK today and every day!!!

  1. I know the song "I love you a bushel and a peck. I can't think of any sayings right now. But I do remember singing "This is the Day that the Lord Has Made" with my Mom ever day the last couple of weeks of her life.
