Powder Pink Petal Passion

Today's card uses the same basic design as yesterday, but a few added elements.  I took the Petal Passion paper piece and added a WASH of color.  Powder Pink ink was lifted from the Ink pad lid with an Aqua painter and washed over the paper.  Just a light wash of color can really add interest to this Black & White paper.  Let the paper dry and a light press under a heavy object will help flatten the paper.

I added a Black mat and adhered to a Powder Pink card base.  Congrats Sentiment is from this amazing Petal Palette Bundle.  I cut out the filigree element in Basic Black and stamped the Roses on Powder Pink with Stazon Black ink and cut out with the framelits.

I colored the Roses with the Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz watercolor pencils.  I then used the Wink of Stella to blend and add SHINE!  These elements were popped up in the corner of the card.
