Ok back to the calendar......I am STRATEGIC so I like to make the most of something, so why not make a Calendar page that can then be used as a Scrapbook starter, or better yet a card front? I think I have accomplished BOTH!
And since today is January 2nd we had better get started or it will be SUMMER before we know it!
And what better way to start than with my FIRST Video....yes it's here, it's raw, it's exhilarating and it took me 3 days to figure out how to do this.....here's hoping I remember how to do it again!!
Simple Calendar Video
I think I covered most of the tips for this calendar in the video, now I feel kind of silly adding still photos, they are so 2017!!! I stamped these Butterflies in Momento Black and the Spots in Pumpkin Pie and then filled in with the Daffodil Delight Blends marker. Bottom Butterfly was colored with the Bermuda Bay Blends.
If you want your calendar to fit in an acetate box the finished size should be 5 1/2 X 4 1/4. If you want a Pocket for Scrapbooks 4 X 6. Using your colored Cardstock is a great way to accent the stamping on your calendar page and adjust the size.. Use the lines printed on the calendar pages to ensure straight cuts. Two months will print on each piece of Whisper White cardstock.
