Another Birthday and Mini Drapery Fold Technique......

Ok yesterday's post was looooong.....so today I will give you the details on the Mini Drapery fold.  So easy and you can change the depth measurement to cover more of your card front.  But the other measurements will remain the same.  I have seen these cards everywhere, and you can find the measurements from www.DOstamping.typepad.com   Dawn does amazing things, check out her blog for tips and tricks!  My good customer Deb shared these measurements with me also.  She has been making Birthday cards for all her Friends and Family and tried this fold technique!!

Mini Drapery Fold
6" x 2" piece of  Designer paper
score at 3-1/4", 3-3/4", 4-3/4", & 5-1/8"
diagonal cut from the bottom of the  3-1/4" score line to 1/2 way up the edge. 
Fold back and forth at each score line - like a fan fold
Adhere to 4" x 5-1/4" card base
If you have overhang on the right side, just trim off with scissors.

Make sure your DSP has a coordinating side that will show up nicely when folded.  The paper stacks are perfect.  You can get 3 pieces out of 1 6X6 paper, or for a larger drape cut in half and make 6X3.

 See how the smaller pattern peeks out of the folds.....and I matted this drape on Island Indigo for some pop, just trim to fit!
