Swap Sneak Peek.....

Onstage (new name for Convention) is a little over 2 weeks away and I am signed up for 2 organized swaps.  A first for me in my 6 years of going to Convention.  This swap is Black and White plus 1 additional color.  We had to pick our color and I chose Rich Razzleberry.   I  have been waiting for my Botanical Garden framelits and thankfully they shipped today!!  But a DEAR customer, Deb allowed me to borrow hers so I could get started. 

Designing a card is not always easy.  This idea has been running around in my head for weeks, so when the backorder report projected a ship date of April 4th, panic set in.  Would I get the framelits in time to make the card?  Would the card turn out like I imagined?   Here is my first go at my swap.  I like it, but needs some tweaking.......I wanted to use Silver Metallic Thread behind the White Flower, but Silver cannot be used unless Silver is your Plus 1 color.....Boo Hiss.  So I may add a Rhinestone to each flower and add a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to the petals.  Not sure, can't give away the final card until after the swap!!

Flower Shop is carrying over to the New Catalog!!  Woo HOO!!  SU gave us a short list so we could make swaps with current product.  I have a feeling I am going to get a lot of swaps with this stamp set!  I used Whisper White THICK embossed with the Brick embossing folder.  Cut the Black card stock at 5 1/2 X 4 1/4.  Cut leaves on both sides with the Botanical Gardens Framelits.  This layer is popped up.  Stamped and punched flowers and added a bit of Black satin Stitched ribbon.  The verdict is still out on the ribbon?  What do you think?  Silver Thread right!!!  LOL!!
