Substitute Cardinal.....

As a few of you know my "Beauty of the Season" Cardinal stamp set FLEW the coop?  Into the trash can in error I'm thinking.  We will never know?  I keep thinking it will turn up, fly back in, drop from the Heavens, but no, nothing, CRICKETS!  Do Cardinals eat Crickets? 

Anyway there is a really cute Cardinal is Festival of Trees and I had punched several trees and wanted to show you what you can do with that negative image.  I trimmed my trees to 5 1/2 X 3 inches.  This Trim the Tree paper stack pattern makes great trees.  Very little decorating needed!  I embossed with Perfect Polka dots for a bit of texture.  A strip of Early Expresso is added for Tree Trunks.  I embossed the sentiment and a cardinal which I popped up on the middle tree along with some Frosted Sequins.  A cute, simple card to use up those scraps on your table!
