Country Flowers

 Since I used Retired items on yesterdays Blog.......TODAY you get some NEW things!  Country Flowers is a great fit for ALL Occasion cards.  The Font for the Sentiments is stunning!  And I LOVE to color!!


The Dotted background is left over from a Paper Pumpkin kit or Retired Designer paper.  I coordinated card bases with Blends colors used for the images.  


LOVE these Radiating Stitch Dies!!  Just that little border gives a very rich look to your projects.  I cut lots of Dies at a time so I can grab and go!  This also helps me not waste paper!  Dies cutting the entire sheet keeps those scraps under control! 


Next time I will use the matching Dies for the Country Flowers Bundle.  Love this plant image!

Sunkissed Christmas

 I had great plans to be spending Christmas in Texas, but plans change and here I am with a Stamp set purchased to make and send cards from my WARM Winter retreat.  Oh well, it took me awhile to ink this up, but here we go.  Beautiful cards paired with Texture Chic paper.


Pool Party card base and this Beautiful paper!  I used the Deckled Frames to paint my scene.  Used the Stamparatus for a crisp image and then colored with Blends.


The Sentiment is stamped directly to the Frame and I added a Crumb Cake larger than life shell for some contrast.  I may not be in Texas....yet....but this card is giving me all the FEELS of a warmer place to be!

Stylish Sketches So Saffron.......

 I used Tear & Turn on this So Saffron pattern from the Gingham Cottage paper stack.  This stack of 48 Sheets of 12X12 paper is well worth the price!


I thought this pair of Ducks looked like a Couple....so add the Happy Anniversary Sentiment to a Stitched Circle.  Colored with Blends and a Crumb Cake strip to accent the Tear area in the Designer paper.

Coloring Coasters

 Coloring Coasters can be very relaxing for me.  I need to lose myself in an activity these past few weeks to take my mind off missing my Snoopy.  So coloring is a welcome distraction.  Crafting is a great outlet when we need to De-stress.  I hope everyone has something that gives them JOY and helps with the hard times we all encounter in life.



Stampin' Blends markers are the perfect tool for coasters.  Alcohol Markers dry fast and Blend for easy shading.  The Coaster surface variations accept the color in different ways so be prepared for different looks on every Coaster.....I mean they are original in that way.  I start with the lightest colors first and then add in the dark.   Old Olive Light and Dark, Pumpkin Pie Dark, Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake.


The Purple Tones tend to really soak into the Coaster.  Highland Heather Light and Rich Razzleberry Light give an almost Real Vibe to this Coneflower.

Stampin' Blends can be ordered in pairs on pages 122/123 of the Annual catalog.  $9.00 for a light and dark Blend!  Available in most of the colors!  Add a pair to your order and you'll have a color collection before you know it!

Relax!!!

 The Grass is cut....what a relief!  Now I can RELAX and kick back for a week before the Royals start again.  And hopefully MOW again on Thursday so there is no need to rake.  Love this Hammock Guy from this stamp set.



I colored with Blends and used Old Olive card base and Dandy Garden Designer paper.  Birthday Cards, Father's Day, even Retirement Cards can be made with this set.
