Jam Jar Paper Pattern

 This paper really is the cutest!  So colorful and looks great on a Secret Sea or Strawberry Slush card base.  The Die set has 4 different Sentiment blanks and the Stamp set has great Sentiments to fit!

This Sentiment die has stitching and embossing.  The Strawberry was colored with Blends and popped up.

This Sentiment Die has scalloped edges and stitching.  The Blueberries were stamped on a scrap of the Designer paper and cut with the matching die.  Paper scraps accent behind the sentiments.

Blueberry Jam

 I made another Jam card today using some scraps to show how I stamped Blueberries on the designer paper under the Vellum.  I needed a neutral paper that the stamped berries would show thru the Vellum.  Darling Duckling card base with a gingham scrap of paper for the tablecloth.

Here is a close up.  I also used the little flower dies to accent the Jar lid.  Secret Sea bow and some retired bling really bring this card together.

I grabbed more scraps and have 10 more Jam cards started.  A 6x6 piece of Designer paper gives you a Jar, tablecloth and Jar lid!  Flip paper for coordinating looks!

Jam is my Jam….

 The long overdue February Thank you cards are on the way.  I finally found the Vellum!  You can’t have a Jar without Vellum!  Vellum is available in 12x12.  Item number 167099,  12 sheets for $10.00.

This Filled with Sweetness bundle screams all things good and wonderful.  Item 167475 $56.50.  My Grandmothers and Mother made Jam every year.  My Brother and I picked the fruit and they made the magic in a jar! I used the Vellum over the designer paper.  

I pulled colors from the Homemade Sweetness 12x12 designer paper.  Item 167467  $12.50 for 12 sheets.  Strawberry Slush, Granny Apple Green and Secret Sea.  

The paper pattern under this Vellum is the same used for the Blue berries.

I used 4 different paper patterns for these cards.  

Gathering Leaves embossing folder was used on the bottom of the card front.  I thought it gave a tablecloth vibe?  This folder is on the last Chance list for $7.35!  Item number 165983.

The jar lid holds down the Vellum on the top.  The Fruit accent holds down the bottom right. And the Sentiment anchors the left side.  Adhesive shows thru Vellum so using elements to hide adhesive can be a challenge.  I did add a thin line of Tombow adhesive under the stamped line on the jar bottom.  Can you see it on this card? I’ll be making lots of Jam cards for the market April 4th.

Lip Balm Gifts

 Come Shop local today at Independence Uptown Market 9-1pm.  I have Lip Balms for Valentine’s Day and these adorable Sweet Bugs for all occasions!

It may be hard to see the little accents on these lip balms.  There is a tiny Die that cuts a Butterfly, Snail and Dragonfly.    You can see a Flirty Flamingo Butterfly on the Lily of the Valley above.

On the back I added a yellow butterfly and a snail!  There are also small berries!  How cute!

Bug Scenes

 Today I used a few scenes from the Designer paper.  2 sheets of paper are divided into scenes.  I hate covering up this cuteness, so a Sentiment and Die cuts is all you need!

Crumb Cake card base and a few Ants round out this Band!

Another Crumb Cake card base and a Simple Sentiment with a Flower for this Picnic scene.

And this Cloud Cover card base is maybe my Favorite!  The scene is a Stump and I stamped this Caterpillar and placed him strolling by….

I used 4 shades of Green Blends and really like how the shading turned out!   This smaller scene was matted on Granny Apple Green card stock.

This Lip balm uses a Mushroom patterned paper.  I used a little clump of Mushrooms on the front and a For You sign on the back.  Burt’s Bees lip balm makes a great little gift!

The Ants Go Marching….

Does anyone remember this song?  I googled and it goes way back to the Civil War.  The Ants in this Sweet Bugs bundle are marching and I had such fun creating cards and a Lip Balm holder.

This Cloud Cover card base features 2 patterns of the Designer paper.  The Ants are marching across the Postage Die.  I colored with Blends.

This card base is Poppy Parade with an entire layer of Designer paper.  Cloud Cover ribbon is wrapped around and secured with Tear and Tape.  This Postage Die is the perfect size for the Ants!

This Mossy Meadow card base features 2 more Designer paper patterns.  These Ants were cut out with the Die and added to the Gingham paper.  The Sentiment is accented with small flowers.  The matching Lip Balm is decorated in Gingham and a solo Ant.  

Strawberries from the matching Dies and a Sentiment that fit the Sign Die from Valentine Kisses.  So much coordination with Stampin’ Up products!

More Sweet Bugs!

 I’m obsessed with this paper and colors!  Such Spring and Picnic vibes.  I’ll have a stack of these cards at the Independence Uptown Market on Saturday 2/7.

I was experimenting with the embossing folder and so far have used White and Poppy Parade card stock.  I cut down the Postage Die with the Sentiment and added to the card front.  

I had a leftover Lily of the Valley and added that to a lip balm holder.  The remaining scrap, I colored the ladybugs with a Blend marker and attached to the back of the Lip Balm.

January Thank You card

 I used the  Sweet Bugs Bundle for my Thank You card to customers.  Everything I used is in the Mini catalog on page 43.  The Ladybug Picnic 3D embossing folder will be available in March as an Online Exclusive!  

Mossy Meadow for the card base and a strip of Poppy Parade on the inside!  I used the Old Olive Rick rack on the side of the sentiment.  I think it looks like a caterpillar.  I fell in love with this bundle when I saw the Lily of the Valley and used it on the Postage Die cut.  This Die cut is from an exclusive Die set designed to match the 3 Spring Paper Pumpkin kits.  Stampin’up also carries a Postage die set called Perennial Postage.

Valentine Scraps

 I posted some small gift bags last week and for every bag you get 2 small squares of paper.  This Valentine paper is so versatile I was able to make 2 cards!  Bubble Bath card base, Flirty Flamingo and Real Red frame these squares.

The Valentine Kisses bundle has such cute little accents of Bears, Honey, Flowers and Hearts.  

I embossed the 1st panel with Hearts of Love embossing folder.  And then added these elements to each square.

Valentine Lip Balms

 I knew this Bear from Valentine Kisses bundle needed to hug some Lip Balm.  So many options with Flowers, honey, hearts and this Baby Bear!

I put a Bear on the front and back of the holder.  So many cute combos.

The Bears are too fluffy to fit in a Treat Tube so need to search for different packaging for the Market 2/7.  The Lip Balms are Strawberry Shortcake and Bluey.

The Holder is 3 x 3 3/4.  Score long side at 3/4.  Turn and score at 3/4, 1 1/2, 2 1/4 and 3.  Fold on score lines, Cut notches and glue side and ends.  Perfect tube for a lip balm.  Decorate accordingly.

Alternative Paper Pumpkin Cards

 Today I went rogue and used Sentiments from Reason to Celebrate.  166905 $20 in the new Spring mini catalog.  This stamp set is popular!  Currently unavailable with a re-stock date of 2/2.  Grab sentiments you have and get Creative!

I stamped Anniversary directly to the Flowered panel.  I used the small sentiment banner for Happy.  Popped up 2 of the flowers from the kit.

I used 2 of the Stamp punch outs on this card front.  Stamped Happy Birthday on the white blank.  Added the Blue Flowers.  

The same card front with Congratulations stamped directly to the paper.  I added the Rose cut outs and a small stamp for accent!  Use this card for a Wedding, Retirement or other happy occasions.

And finally a Graduation card.  I cut the leaves from the Rose cut out and added Daisies instead.  The Gold Grid background pulls out the Gold trim on the Sentiment blank and the Daisy centers.

Special Delivery

 I have to admit, I was not sure about this January Pumpkin kit.  But once I opened the kit and made each card as pictured I loved the Vintage look.  The Poppy Parade ink spot added that punch of color to bring all the elements together.  

All of these cards could be used for Birthday, Get Well and other occasions!
