Beautiful Gallery Designer paper is a must have for Sympathy cards.  I sometimes struggle with 6x6 paper, but recently saw some cards that really inspired me!

I used Crumb Cake card bases and Very Vanilla Sentiments and envelopes.

Trimmed this paper down from both sides, love how the Roses frame the Sentiment.

This Landscape pattern was used both directions.  Below was cut to 3 panels and aligned on the card front.

Obsessed with Spooky Sweet!

 I really am obsessed…..could not sleep Thursday night so popped in the craft room and made 7 more cards covered 6 boxes.  And I still have over 8 sheets of paper left and more punch outs!  Oh and I decorated all 20 of the iridescent treat bags!

This Cat in the window of this paper has that Halloween attitude!  I dug out my Retired stamps for the Sentiment.

This pattern has treats floating in the Stars!  So cute!

And here are more cards using up the sheet of Scene paper.Cut along the lines, add a mat or don’t!  Coordinates with Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Smoky Slate, Petunia Pop and Black.

 This Designer paper does ALL the work for you!  Today I grabbed the pattern with scenes and cut apart to use as card fronts, these are so cute!  And the punch outs let you decorate to complete the scene.

This little Princess punch out completed this scene perfectly.  The Sentiment was stamped directly on the designer paper.

This paper pattern reminded me of the Great Pumpkin Patch!!  Sentiment stamped directly on the paper.

And this cat in the window is adorable.  I used the Fright Night Bundle for all the Sentiments.

Spooky Treat bags

 September is almost over and I am remiss in sharing these Halloween items!  Get your orders in for some of our Sweet Paper, Packaging and Stamps!  The Spooky Sweet Suite is available to order separately and today I used the Designer Paper and Treat Bags!

The Treat Bags are a shimmering pink/purple wash.  The Treat Bag will hold a Microwave Popcorn or many candy treats!  $8.00 for 20 4x6 food safe bags! 

I used the Tag sheet of Designer paper and all the cute critters on the punch out sheet.  Great for a child’s party or scrapbooking!

I coordinated the Tags with punch outs and glued them directly to the Treat Bags.  Sorry my lighting and countertop make the bags look green.

Etched Autumn Coasters

 I found some more paper in Pink tones for these Nivea Hand Creams.  Petunia Pop, Bubble Bath and Pretty in Pink tones.  I found using a White Deckled Circle looked best with these paper patterns.

Love and Courage

 This stamp set is beautiful and so timely with Breast Cancer awareness coming up in October.  These Nivea Holders are for a Special order.  I’ll be making a few more in different pink tones for Market this Saturday. 

Pinks can be a challenge to match.  This paper has Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo.  So I used a Pretty in Pink cut with a Deckled Circle with Melon Mambo ink.

This is a keeper Stamp set!  And can be used for all different types of cancer just by changing the colors.  

Here is a better look at the back of the holders.  They will be wrapped in cellophane with a Pink Bow.

Etched Autumn Thank You….

 August Thank you cards are getting mailed today!  I used a New Background stamp called Etched Autumn.  

This is a Red Rubber Cling stamp, I love a good background stamp.  I used 1 ink color, but you could easily use multiple colors or color with Blends!

 

Crumb Cake card base with Timid Tiger ink and Early Expresso accent.

This Etched Autumn stamp is an Online Exclusive and will be available to order Sept. 5th.  

I used the Pressed Flower embossing folder available now #165614 $11.00.  I embossed Early Expresso card stock and then tore a band to accent the card.

Irregular Weave 3/8 trim is in the Holiday mini catalog and will be available Sept. 5th.

Day off!!!!

 I’m taking this Saturday off 8/16!  I’ve been catching up in the yard and making Halloween items.

Embossed Designer Paper….

 I found a Designer Paper pattern that gives Sunflowers a new look!  Toadstool Garden has 8 sheets of this paper pattern.  And it’s On Sale in the Last Chance section while supplies last!  Item 164942  $10.

Daffodil Delight card base, Pecan Pie layer and the embossed Designer paper.  I used the Ink pad drag to color the Sunflowers and the Blending brush to add the Old Olive and Crumb Cake.  

And here is another look with a Daffodil Delight card base.  Stunning!  Below is the Designer paper!  How awesome is this technique!  Go thru your Designer paper and get busy!

Inked Sunflower cards

 I only made 2 finished cards…..because my Craft room is still locked!!  So my color choices are very limited as my card stock is all neatly filed in my craft room!  

This card base is White and the Darker shade of Fresh Freesia Two Tone and inked with Fresh Freesia.  The sentiment was stamped on a scrap and Die Cut with the small Arch Die.

This card base is Pecan Pie.  I added some Timid Tiger ink to the Crushed Curry Sunflowers.

Inked Embossing Technique

 I have been meaning to ink up the Sunflower 3D embossing folder and show you how a little bit of ink can give a WOW factor!  Especially with the Two tone card stock.  Here are the just embossed images…..

Crushed Curry and Fresh Freesia light and dark sides.  Gorgeous just like this…. But try dragging an ink pad over the raised flowers and WOW!  This technique is less messy than inking the actual embossing folder.  

My craft room is still locked so my Ink colors were limited.  I worked on the door a solid hour today and no luck.  I don’t want to ruin the door….but I’m about to bust it down!!

I used a Fresh Freesia ink spot on both Light and Dark cardstock.  The Sunflower really pops!

The Crushed Curry was inked with Darling Duckling on the Dark.

And Crumb Cake on the light.  

So many options and you can use multiple colors of ink.  I really wanted to add some Cajun Craze to this card but…..it is under lock down!  Stay tuned for finished cards on Friday.
