I will be taking a Break from Blogging....not sure how long. I have a very sick Kitty and she needs me now more than ever. Snoopy was diagnosed with CKD, Chronic Kidney Disease last Thursday and things are not going well. She needs to eat and drink, but changing to a KD diet has been a roller coaster. Please check the phosphorous and sodium levels of your cat food! I thought I was feeding very good food, but turns out not so much for an older kitty. And this disease sneaks up on your pet. Her blood work was fine in March of 2020!
If any of you have been thru this and have any advise please reach out. I am following the guidelines, but there is so much to read and I'm a bit overwhelmed. She loves her outside time and we had a nice afternoon trimming bushes. But this AM back to not eating. Cooking some chicken and will see if that is more palatable than the KD canned food.
