My childhood home had 2 Pine Trees in the front yard. Bird Feeders hung from a Shepherds Hook and Cardinals frequented the Feeders often. Such fun growing up with these Beautiful Birds right outside the window. My Picture Window faces North and I have some beautiful Hedge. Cardinals still frequent my Window and get protection from the Weather in this Hedge. I hear their song and think of Family gone too soon.
This card is stepped up a bit, the Cardinal is EMBOSSED in Black on Real Red. I cut a Shaded Spruce Tree and Wrapped in Plaid paper for a Backdrop. Shaded Spruce card base and a layer of Birch! Love this Background stamp!!
Shaded Spruce Gold 3/8 ribbon ties it all together! I did not add a Sentiment, this may be a Winter Birthday card!
