Birthday Cats

Lots of Birthdays this month and several cat lovers, so I went on a terror and inked up the Cats.  Lovely Lipstick seems to be my new favorite color and an IN Color so I broke out the IN Color paper stack for a vibrant background.

The Rectangle Stitched Framelits are perfect for stamping an Image and Sentiment on the same panel!  So many sizes to choose from!  I added the floating hearts so this could also be a Valentine! 
And decorated the inside with a few paw prints.

This kitty reminds me of KC, the neighbor cat at my old house.  KC moved in with us the last 2 years, using the cat door to come and go.  Lucy loved her cat neighbors.  So unlike Snoopy who wants nothing to do with any of the wandering cats in the neighborhood.

I started with a Smoky Slate card base and stamped paws from the Dog set on the edges.  Cat is stamped in Black and then the fur in Gray Granite.  I should have changed up the fur a bit, but KC was on my mind.  We moved 12 years ago, I imagine he has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is with Lucy.

Love the Sentiments in this set......and my final card......flipped to landscape and added the yarn and paws.  Another pattern from the IN Color paper stack.
