Watermelon Curvy Keepsakes

I have been working on The Winery Event again and trying to come up with some cute little items.  While looking for Bunny and Chick Curvy Keepsakes I came across these Watermelons.......how cute are these!!!

I used Cucumber Crush Ink and Card stock, with Watermelon Wonder card stock and retired ribbon.    The seeds were added with Tombow and then a wash of Clear Wink of Stella.

The secret to making these is only cut half of the die at a time.  I first cut the melon rind, if you cut a strip
2 7/8 X 8 1/2 you can fit 2 on each strip.  I cut the tab off the Cumcumber Crush.  Same for the Watermelon Wonder, 2 per strip, but I left the tabs to add some more stability to the box.

I inked up the background stamp "Brushstrokes" in cucumber Crush and stamped the Cucumber Crush tabs.  Glue the 2 pieces together and then fold up.  I tied the ribbon and added a sentiment with Linen Thread.
