Woodland Mash UP

Today I tried another technique with the Inside the Lines paper, but with no emboss resist because the Inside the Lines paper is already printed!! This scene would have taken lots of coloring,  so I  sponged some Soft Sky on the Sky areas, Pear Pizzazz on the Trees and Crumb Cake on the Tree Trunks.  Then I took these same color ink pads and added ink to a piece of window sheet.  I tried to mimic the ink to match the layout of the paper.  I then Spritzed with water and Mashed on the paper.  I needed more color so did this process twice.


I needed a really FULL sentiment so it would show up on the background.  This Sentiment is from last years Tin of Cards.  The paper was mounted on Crumb Cake on a Pear Pizzazz card base.

I hope you can see the Woodland embossing folder on the left edge.  I just put about 1 1/2 inch of the edge in the folder.  This gives an interesting edge and adds Texture to the Trees on the paper.  This would make a beautiful Man card or Sympathy card.
