Hen and Chicks.......

Yesterday you saw the Egg Cartons with the Hens on Top, well I took them to a new level with a bit of craftiness on the inside.......Take a LOOK.....Chicks......Succulent style!

 I've been struggling for a Hostess Gift for some of my Customers that place a Qualifying order for Their own Hostess Benefits of $150.00.  I usually give some supplies(Glue Dots, Dimensionals, New Product Samples, etc).  But I miss that ability to create something truly special for a Home Party Hostess.  I think I have found it!!!

 I think we have all seen Hen & Chicks in the Gardens growing up, if not they are quite easy to grow and Squirrels like to dig them up.  I had yet to Break out the "Oh So Succulent Bundle" and decided this was the perfect Hostess Gift!!  Blushing Bride, Wild Wasabi and So Saffron card stocks and inks.

 Here are the Spritzed Egg Cartons that were on the Blog yesterday.  I added a Hey Chick tag tied with some Linen Thread stamped on an Oval Stitched Tag.  (Stitched Framelits should be back in Inventory on or around Jan. 16th)  The succulent hangs out just a bit, I only used 4 layers to keep the chick smaller to fit in the carton.

 These were my little Succulent bottoms.  They fit perfectly in the egg carton and give just enough lift to add your Succulent toppers.  I used 1 Glue dot to attach, cause you know the candy will be eaten!  And then the Toppers can be used on cards or scrapbook pages!

These were really quite easy to assemble.  Since the dies are all different sizes you can cut all 4 pieces in 1 crank thru the Big Shot.  I did stamp the little shadow on the 2 larger leaf sets.  Curled with the Bone folder and assembled with a dimensional between the larger layers and then glue dots.  Rhinestone in the center.  The Cacti Flowers were only 2 layers.  I did stamp the smallest flower image on the top layer and poked up the cut outs and added a Pearl.  LOVE these and can't wait to get them in the mail to my Customers!!

The Cadbury Eggs will be in the store aisles soon, but until then.....make a Chocolate Succulent Garden for someone you LOVE!!
