Copper Emboss Resist Leaves

I have used this Technique in the past and wanted to try it out with the Copper embossing powder.  On the Oak Leaf I grabbed the clear powder and shook before I realized.  So the leaf is a little of both....but I love how it turned out!!  I embossed the smallest leaves in clear powder and then added some Smoky Slate grunge to the Soft Sky card base.

I then took a piece of window sheet and blotted with Crumb Cake and Island Indigo ink.  Spritzed with water and "Smooshed" on the card front.  When you lift the window sheet you can re-position and "Smoosh" again.  If any extra ink or water is present, blot with a paper towel.

I tried to stamp the sentiment directly to the card, but it was still wet.......and turned out NOT so pretty.  So I stamped and cut out with a retired Framelit and popped up with a Copper Foil leaf and Copper Thread.

And here is the finished card on a Tip Top Taupe card base.
