Shaker cards

Today I am sharing a Stampin' Up shaker card video that shows all the steps in making a shaker card.

My card shows a few tricks, but I forgot and assembled the card before taking step by step pictures.  :)

This started out a 4th of July card, and took a left turn....the fireworks were stamped with a flower type stamp from "Touches of Texture" in Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Marina Mist.

 The Star Shaker was cut with the Star Framelits, nesting them together as shown below.  The width of the Star frame is perfect to hide the dimensionals used to create the space for the Star confetti.

 Cut another star using window sheets and adhere to the Star frame with tombow glue.  Let dry.  Add dimensionals around the star to create your shaker pocket.  Add the Star Confetti before removing the tape from your dimensionals.  This will prevent your confetti from sticking to the dimensionals. 

I used less than a strip for the star.  These dimensionals are amazing and 40 strips plus the edges, so a great value!!
