Christmas in July Week

Stampin' Up has a great selection of Christmas goodies in the New catalog, many in fact that carried over from the 2015 Holiday catalog.  You can find all the Holiday items on pages 26-35.  I will be sharing a Holiday card every day this week mixing these stamp sets with NEW items from the Big Catalog.  In fact my Saturday Stamp a Stack will have Christmas cards and All Occasion cards Saturday July 16th.  You chose the type of cards you want to make!  Check my events tab on the website and rsvp to attend this class.

My first card is a variation on many Snowman cards I have seen using the Swirly Bird Framelits mixed with a Hat and Scarf from "Snow Place".  I could have added a face, but love the simplicity of the Swirls in Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper.

The card base is Night of Navy.  I then cut a 3 X 4 piece of "Floral Boutique Designer paper" and adhered it to a 3 1/4 X 5 piece of Whisper White.  This panel was then embossed with the "Siftly Falling embossing folder.  The "Swirly Bird Framelits" were used to cut the "Dazzling Diamonds" glitter paper.  Remember to place your glitter paper face down, with the Framelit on top to keep from dulling your framelits.

I then used Tombow to adhere the swirls and snow bands.  The scarf and hat were popped up on a dimensional.
