Blushing Bride Poinsettia and Prayers for our Stampin' Up Family

Stampin' Up is holding it's first On Stage event in Brussels Belgium this past weekend.  Please keep our Stampin' Up Family in your prayers for their safety and a safe journey home!!

I could not wait to use another paper for this Flower!!  And when the Pink Poinsettias hit the stores I always buy one.  I tried to re-create that look with Newsprint paper stamped with Tip Top Taupe veins and Sponged with Blushing Bride.  Leaves are Pear Pizzazz.  Background is Tip Top Taupe embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder.  Silver Thread and a Metal Rimmed Pearl add shimmer to this card!  This would make a gorgeous Winter Wedding or Birthday card!

A MAJOR trick when using this punch.  Cut paper in strips of 2 3/4 inches.  Less paper waste and you may have extra pieces, but throw them in a cup for the next card.  I stamp after I punch, each leaf has it's own character.  To punch leaves cut a strip 1 inch wide and just use the large leaf.
