Fall Monet

This card is my idea of a Monet Painting, all faded and muted and ran together.  This Technique is super easy.  All you need is Watercolor paper, inks, stamps and a Spritzer of water.  This stamp set "Lighthearted Leaves" is perfect!  I stamped one style of leaf in Pumpkin Pie, another in Tip Top Taupe and the smallest is So Saffron.  Start with the largest image and work to the smallest so you can fill in your empty spaces.  Then Spritz lightly with water.  If water drops gather on the edges, blot with a paper towel.  Allow to dry or use your Heat Gun to dry quickly.

I stamped 1 leaf in So Saffron on Very Vanilla card stock and cut out with the matching Framelits.  The Sentiment was stamped in Tip Top Taupe and cut out with the Lots of Labels Framelits.  I then wound some Gold Thread around the paper and adhered to the Sahara Sand card base.
Simple card that can be made in countless color combinations for any occasion!  This Sentiment is made for Fall cards!
