Easy Leaf and another Background paper

I wanted to try again on the Technique shown on page 44 and make a card we could make at Stamp A Stack.  So here goes......
I had several Stencils from making the previous leaf cards and I love the idea of sponging color.  The color choices are endless!  And a few leaves go a long way on this Woodgrain pattern from "Into the Woods" designer paper.  I used Tangerine Twist for the other side of the background.  The Leaves were stamped in Early Expresso and then sponged inside the stencil created by cutting out a leaf.

Here is an example of the stencil.  Keep these images to use on future cards,  I love how the Sponge dauber gives you better control of your color.  I need to have a sponge in every color!!!  You can actually wash these with water and let dry for another color.


The Tag punch and some Burlap scraps give this Tag a rustic look to match the background.  Leaves and Sentiment from Lighthearted Leaves.
