Convention Card projects

Here are 2 of out Convention Make N Takes.  I love them both, but the Birthday card pouch is so awesome and a great way to gift some of your handmade cards!

This pouch hold 4 of our Note cards and envelopes.  And who knew this pouch is made from one of our Gift Card Enclosure pre-scored cards.  You get 10 for $5.95!!  You simply add a score line at 1/2 inch from the original score line on 3 sides to allow for the space for the cards.  Super Simple!  A Belly Band of Designer paper from Flower Pot and then decorated with Amazing Birthday and Gold Glimmer Stars.  So cute and so Colorful!   Colors used, Lost Lagoon, Tangerine Tango, Hello Honey and Real Red.

Our next project used Kinda Eclectic.  The Honeycomb embossing folder was inked with Crumb Cake ink and pressed lightly on the card stock to create a subtle background.  I forget how pretty this can be and need to use this technique more often.  The Sun image was then stamped in Hello Honey, leaves in Mossy Meadow.  The sentiment was stamped in Mossy Meadow on Crumb cake and the backgound bubble stamp was stamped in crumb cake for a subtle background.  Ends are flagged and popped up over some Linen Thread that is looped and adhered to the card base.  A thin strip of Blackberry Bliss stripes from the Moonlight paper stack is added and a Tangerine Tango Butterfly, Hello Honey Flowers and a Vellum Bitty Butterfly!!  Lots of product makes a Beautiful card!!

Both of these cards can be made at the August 2nd Stamp a Stack.

I have added the August Hostess code 4RSYM39T.
