Easter Blessings

Wishing everyone a Blessed Easter!!

This card is one of my Favorite color combos.  My Mothers Counter top was very similar to this pattern of flowers.  The Cross is made with the new Hardwood background stamp.  So many uses for this stamp.  I stamped Soft Suede on Crumb Cake card stock and cut the pieces and tied the together with some Linen Thread.  Ovals in Whisper White and Perfect Plum provide the Frame.  Flowers from Summer Shillouettes were stamped on the White Oval and the card base.  Easter Blessing(retired) was stamped in Early Express on both pieces because the card was TOO small!  But I love the look.  The card base was then embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder and the ovals popped up to match the script of the Sentiment.

This card will be going to my 98 year old Aunt Irene, she loves getting notes from me and I am so Blessed to still have her in my life.
