Shaker Valentine

We made shaker cards last Christmas and time got away from me and it didn't happen this year.  So let's make a Shaker Valentine!  The Hearts Collection Framelits make it so easy.  You have step by step picture directions to follow.  Or make this card at the Feb 1st Stamp a Stack.  Head over to the website and RSVP!

First take the number 2 and 3 Hearts in the collection and layer them on the magnetic platform on Real Red card stock

You will end up with this.  Keep the full Heart for another project.

Now cut a Whisper White large Heart and a Window sheet Heart.

Remember these?  Shaker Frames, Snip them up to form a Heart!  First use Snail Adhesive to attach your window sheet to the Real Red Heart.  Then add snips of shaker frame all around, no gaps if you are using glitter or small items.  I used small punched hearts, so no danger of them escaping!

This is how it looks with the snipped shaker frames. 

Add your punched hearts, make sure they are facing the window sheet, the space is thin so they will not flip over once you close the back.  The small white backed heart are Glimmer paper!!  Remove the adhesive backing and add the Large White Heart to the back.

Wa La, now you are ready to add to a card.  Shake Shake Shake, Shake your Valentine!!

Finished Project!  Next Time I am stamping LOVE inside the Heart on the White paper!
