Batty for You Candy Bar Slide

Many of you have probably seen this type of treat holder.  I could not find my original, so I made this up as I went along and it works fine.  It also takes less card stock!!  A great favor for school or work!

I cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie at 5 1/2 X 6.  You can get 2 from each piece of 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of card stock.  The leftover piece can easily be used on another card......I will show you tomorrow!

Score at 1 3/4 and 4 1/4.  If you notice I started a bit smaller and realized my candy needed to slide a bit more freely!  Fold and stamp allowing images to be partially off the paper.  I used Stazon Black for the Bats from Halloween Hello and then over stamped with the Illuminate ink.

Punch holes with the Cropodile or small hole punch for your ribbon.  Adhere the back of the cardstock flaps.  Cut ribbon twice the length of the cardstock plus 3 inches.  Mine is 14 inches.
5 1/2 + 5 1/2 + 3.  Thread ribbon thru the holes and tie together.  I used my tag and some White Bakers twine to tie the ribbon ends.  Smaller ribbon could be knotted.  It is best to use ribbon at least 1/2 inch wide to hold the candy bar.  Use punches you have to create a layered tag!

Insert candy bar and push down to the bottom of the slide.  To get candy to show, Pull on the ribbon.  Very Clever and I have no idea who to give credit to for this adorable candy cover, that has been copied by many!
