April Paper Pumpkin

Here comes another Video......can you stand it?  Yesterday I was upside down, today I am sideways.  I cannot seem to find the "flip" button?  Technology is HARD!  But I won't give up!!  Here you go and I am heading to the craft room to finish the card I started.............

I do LOVE this Rose stamp, it reminds me of the Wild Roses in FULL Bloom.  We lived close to Railroad tracks growing up and would pick Roses to take to Grandma.  My Love for Flowers started at a very young age.  This card uses a Retiring Color, Powder Pink.  I am still in denial that 5 of my favorite colors are going away....FRESH FIG, Lemon Lime Twist,  what will I do without you!!!  Get your orders in for Retiring products before they are GONE!

I had to make an alternative.  Remember to JOIN the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club Facebook page for oodles of Inspiration!  This card is Stamps, Ink and Paper.  #Simplestamping

Lots of Great Sentiments in this Stamp set.  Make sure to watch for Refill and Full kits next week.  Subscribe today so you can purchase past kits and get the SO Shelli kit in May!!  See the link below.
See all the Subtle Detail in the Distinktive stamps!!  Ink lightly for the full effect.

And here is the card I started in the Video.  I added some Powder Pink and this card was saved!!  I re-inked my Black ink pad and need to not use such a heavy hand when inking!

Paper Pumpkin kits make perfect gifts!  Have a Monthly craft time with your Children, Grandchildren or Friends.  Be Creative and SHARE your cards with your Family and Friends!!

Pocket Full of Sunshine

This Pocket stamp set was calling me to pair with the Needle & Thread Bundle.  Remember all those embroidered jeans we wore in the 70's?  I actually did some of my own designs thanks to a Crafty MOM! I added ruffles to the bottom of my jeans as I was taller than the average pair of Jordache Jeans.  Bedazzled with some Rhinestones and even Bleached!!  Yes we pretty much had 1 color of Denim back in the Day!!

I used Blue Berry Bushel and the Burlap for the texture of the Jeans and then Embroidered the Pocket with this amazing piece in the Needle Point Nook Bundle.  And them popped up a Lovely Lipstick Flower on the pocket.

I love this sentiment and used the Stitched Rectangle Framelits and added a pair of Lovely Lipstick Sunglasses.  Another Great Grad, Birthday or MANY Occasion card!

Pocket Framelits  143750  $25.00

Pop Bottle Lip Balms

These are so cute, but a bit time consuming to make.....so make a bunch at one time!  I made 24 for the Uptown Market Sunday 8-2pm.  Your Big Shot and your arms will get a work out!

Start with a 3 X 3 1/2 piece of card stock.  This makes the box the Lip Balm sits in.
Score at 1/2, 1 1/4, 2 and 2 3/4.  Turn and score at 1/2.  Trim as pictured.  I used Tombow to glue together.  Sit the Lip Balm inside and press to flatten the bottom.  Cut 2 Large Pop Bottles and adhere, making sure your project sits flat.  The Wiggle room of Tombow will help you accomplish this.

I stamped the Bottle Image on a few, cut labels, stamped a bit.  Decorate however you want.
Our 2 X 8 cellophane bags complete the package.  These would be so cute as a NON CANDY addition to an Easter Basket!

Bubble Over 145868   $17.00

Bottles and Bubbles Framelits 145663  $28.00

Pet Sympathy Cards

This Dog Bundle in the Occasions catalog is a keeper.  All of us who have pets face the inevitable day that they cross the Rainbow Bridge.  Sad days for US and so many of our Friends and Family.  Happy Tails covers the Sad and Happy times in our pets lives.

The Dog Punch can be used as a negative image.  The Heart is part of this punch, so I cut a Large Oval in Black card stock and then Punched.  I then punched a Heart from Lovely Lipstick.  Smoky Slate card base and the Subtle embossing folder really adds texture, but not too much.

Sentiment is popped up on a Stitched Circle.

And the DOG that was punched out is used on a Crumb Cake card base with Paw Prints.  Such a versatile set!

Happy Tails Bundle  150631  $31.50

Subtle Embossing folder  143706  $10.00
