Great Pumpkin Starry Night

This card makes me think of the Peanuts Halloween Special waiting for the Great Pumpkin to come.  Love that show, watch it every year if I get a chance.  And this Star punch gives the perfect Starry Night!

I chose a Perfect Plum card base to show off these stars.  Punched Basic Black and layered over Daffodil Delight.  The pumpkins from Fall Fest were stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink on Pumpkin Pie card stock.  Leaves Old Olive ink on Old Olive card stock.  Both cut with the Fun Fall framelits.  Trick or Treat is from Good Greetings that you can earn with a $300 party!!  And the Old Olive 2 tone trim adds the perfect touch.  I'm ready to wait in this pumpkin patch for the Great Pumpkin and this chilly weather makes me think that time is coming soon!

Seeing Stars

This Star border punch has a double purpose.  Punch Stars for a border and Star Confetti!  I love it when you get a two for one!!  First up is a punched star border.  A bit of a learning curve to line up this punch, but I'm getting better at it and will have it all figured out by the next Stamp a Stack!

I used the Amazing Birthday set and bright colors.  Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise and Pumpkin Pie.  I also used the Star embossing folder for a few more stars.  Amazing is stamped and popped up for contrast.

Christmas Card of the Week

I am going to post a Christmas project every Thursday until Christmas.  This week I am previewing this crazy wacky Santa set and matching paper.  Adorable stuff and perfect for all the guys in your life.  Whether they are teenagers, Husbands, Fathers or Grandfathers I think this will bring a smile to their face!





Oh Santa how cute is this paper?  It makes me smile and the entire suite of products is so much fun!!

I added Old Olive card stock on each side embossed with the new Trees "On Point" embossing folder.  Santa Visions is stamped in Real Red and added to a Real Red mat.  The Old Olive trim adds a perfect accent with out covering any of the dancing Santas.

Moon and Stars

A Lady famous for her Brayer techniques Michelle Zindorf showed us this technique at Convention.  Ink pad drag on paper is the jist of it.  Kind of random, but a great background!  I used Perfect Plum, So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pear Pizzazz.  Stamped the cauldron first, the shoes later.  Not sure I see a difference.  Used the Stars embossing folder, my new favorite and a Big Hello Honey Moon with the Bats and Sentiment.  All stamps from Tee Hee Hee!!  The 2' inch circle is a weekly deal, love this punch!

Another super simple card using the Moonlight paper stack and Lost Lagoon.  Ray of Sunshine provided the sentiment and the sun was cut from the Hostess set Hello Love stamped in Hello Honey with a Hello Honey 1 1/2 inch circle behind.  That's it, simple.

Counting Candles

Here is a super simple card we did at Stamp a Stack.  Many possibilities with any paper and color combo.  This card used Pool Party for the background, Flashback dsp and Crushed Curry with the Gold embossed Happy Birthday sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners.  The flames were punched from Gold Foil paper with the Bird Builder punch.  Arrows embossing folder adds texture to the background.
