Best Catch

Manly cards are always in demand and with Father's Day coming up this would be a Great Choice or for an Anniversary or Birthday.  The Crackle background gives a Vintage vibe and the torn edge on a Crumb Cake card base.

I colored with Colored pencils and Blended with the Clear Wink of Stella.  Added a hint of Crackle on the card base and popped up the Fish and Pear Pizzazz layer.  Gray Granite was used for the crackle.

Best Catch  150605  $43.00

Crackle Paint  148752  $16.00

Lovely As a Tree Day

This Iconic stamp set has been around for 15 years!!  Every year we wonder if the NEW catalog will include this set.....alas this year Lovely As a Tree is RETIRING!!  SO order now if you want this versatile stamp set.  I am showing a Father's Day and Birthday card today.

The Oak Tree begs to be embossed.  I embossed in Copper and then did a Old Olive Watercolor wash.  Paired with the Wood Textures paper stack and Basic Black on a Crumb Cake card base.

And here is another stamp in this set with the reverse side of this paper.

This set make great Manly cards and can also be used for Sympathy.  Old Olive and Balmy Blue for the watercolor wash.  Use the Heat tool to dry the image.  Adding a Basic Black border helps flatten the edges

Lovely As a Tree  Wood 128655 $28.00,  Clear 127793  $20.00

Wood Textures paper stack 144177  $11.00

Independence Uptown Market Day!!

Get your Mother's Day cards at the Uptown Market!!  7AM-1PM.  I will have my tables set up at the West end of the Market.  Check out all the Outdoor vendors and then come see ME!!  Here is something NEW!!

How cute are these Nail files with a little Cover up made with 1/2 piece of 6X6 paper.  It's just a fold....so simple and I will get some directions posted this week.  But it is 10:45 and I have a car to finish loading and get my self to bed for that 5 AM alarm!

How cute for MOM to have one of these in her purse, or gym bag, or car console....for that raggedy nail that catches on everything!!!  I used some retired paper to match the colors on these small files

These are full size using an entire sheet of 6X6 paper.  Love this Garden Impressions paper pack.  Get one before its gone!!

Garden Impressions paper stack 6X6  146289 $11.00
