Royals Christmas

I received the most gorgeous Wreath last night from my almost Daughter, Heather!  Heather is a pinterest watcher and has been making these in KU, K-State and other college colors.  She posted this Royals Wreath on Facebook a few days ago and I secretly hoped she was making one for me.  We met for a Movie and dinner and there in her car was this beauty!! 

Which is now proudly hanging in my entry until I can figure a way to attach to my door.  Love this!!!

Substitute Cardinal.....

As a few of you know my "Beauty of the Season" Cardinal stamp set FLEW the coop?  Into the trash can in error I'm thinking.  We will never know?  I keep thinking it will turn up, fly back in, drop from the Heavens, but no, nothing, CRICKETS!  Do Cardinals eat Crickets? 

Anyway there is a really cute Cardinal is Festival of Trees and I had punched several trees and wanted to show you what you can do with that negative image.  I trimmed my trees to 5 1/2 X 3 inches.  This Trim the Tree paper stack pattern makes great trees.  Very little decorating needed!  I embossed with Perfect Polka dots for a bit of texture.  A strip of Early Expresso is added for Tree Trunks.  I embossed the sentiment and a cardinal which I popped up on the middle tree along with some Frosted Sequins.  A cute, simple card to use up those scraps on your table!

I Love Trees!!

I am running out of cards and need some goodies but quickies!  I did not show "Festival of Trees" near enough love this season, so this is the first set I reached for. 

With a matching tree punch scraps are the perfect option for embossing and stamping tone on tone.  Santa & Co. paper provides a great background.  I lined up the Trees, added some sparkle and sentiment.  Done!  My little Grove of Christmas Trees!

Seasonally Scattered

I think I have used every Christmas Stamp in my stash....well except for the missing Cardinal stamp.  That is another story......

This stamp set was from Convention and had gotten lost in the shuffle and this Santa & Co. paper is so pretty.  So I combined and threw all the Bling I could find at this card.  Love the result!

Vivilore

Pardon my lack of projects this weekend.  I had lunch with the Girls on Saturday and pretty much raked and bagged leaves every waking hour.  Which has given me a wicked cough and chest cold, so not much creating going on at my House. 

I am going to share my pictures from lunch.  Vivilore is a quaint little café and antique shop on Winner Rd in Independence Mo, in the Englewood shopping district.  This place is actually 2 blocks from my old house.  It was an Interior Decorating business when I lived there and switched to a restaurant in 2012.  Give it a Google for hours and menu.

I can't wait to go back in the Spring and dine in the Gardens!!

 I cannot remember the name of the artist but this Santa display is amazing!  I would love to have one but the range from $1400 up.
